It was a HOT Independance Day in 2019. And Quiet Riot was playing my home town Fourth of July Festival. The Haynes Apperson Festival. It's a small fair that I've gone to all my life. In recent years, the promoters have been doing their best to bring in more well known music acts. And I am thankful for that. But, I really haven't been able to really enjoy them the past couple of years. I don't do well in the heat. And a few other things came up this year that were telling me to skip this show. But I just had to go. Even if we had to leave early. I only got to hear a handful of songs before we left, but they sounded great! Here's the songs I heard.
Run For Cover
Slick Black Cadillac
Mama Weer All Crazee Now
Love's A Bitch
Condition Critical
We could still hear them as we walked to the car. I'm not sure what the next song was, but the one after that was Thunderbird. I could tell that from about 5 blocks away. I know I missed the two most popular songs, and would have loved to stay longer. It just wasn't in the cards. So I took about 100 pics in the short time I was there so here's a few.
